In the first 4 years we organized it together with H2o at H2O Mamaia beach, in 2017 at Audi beach in Mamaia, in 2018 at Wego Kite Spot and then we moved it to Vama Veche trying to get closer to our participants. Being open, anyone who already has the basic training at SUP is welcomed to participate.<\/p>\n<p>It is a Sea Race type contest, with 2 Races:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Long Distance race, starting from the beach, and returning to the finish in the same place after completing a number of buoy laps.<\/li>\n<li>Technical Race again starting and finishing on the beach, but with a special technical course through the buoys.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Sea Race combines all the skills of a SUP practitioner: balance, power, sprint, and surf.<\/p>\n<p>The contest is held in categories depending on the number of participants from each of them: Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Amateur Boys, Amateur Girls, Pro Boys, Pro Girls for the Long Distance race, and only Pro&#8217;s for the technical race.<\/p>\n<p>Registrations can be made on the spot, and for those who do not have SUP equipment, we can make available our equipment consisting of boards, leashes and vests.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.supacademy.ro\/en\/sunrace-open-contest-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Read the Rules<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column video_bg=&#8221;yes&#8221;
